My Story

Agent Melissa Friddle is an 11-year Army veteran and has been a Texas art teacher for 16 years. She is married to Taylor Friddle, and together with their son Justin Ray and numerous four-legged children, they enjoy living in the country where their dogs can run around and play. She grew up in Alaska and later moved to Texas with her born and raised Texas husband, Taylor, who is a Special Education Teacher and life-long coach.

Melissa’s decision to transition into the real estate industry reflects her desire to continue helping others in a new capacity. Her experience as a teacher has equipped her with valuable skills in communication, problem-solving, and understanding the needs of her clients. By combining her love for teaching and art with the challenges of real estate, Melissa has found a fulfilling way to serve her community.

Joining C Akin 4 Realty LLC was a natural choice for Melissa, driven by her personal connection to the brokerage’s founder, Charlin Akin. Sixteen years ago, Charlin played a pivotal role in Melissa’s life as her mentor, guiding her towards a successful career in education.
